The story.
I grew up fishing the flats of Mosquito Lagoon. Before I had a boat, I had a kayak. Before I had a kayak, I had a pair of waders and a spool of line. I've been chasing redfish, snook, and trout in these waters for over 17 years — long before it was my job.
I started Addicted Fishing Charters because I got tired of hearing people come off rental boats with nothing to show for it. This water is some of the best inshore fishing in the country — you just have to know how to read it. Tides, wind, moon phase, water temp, bait movement. Most days I can look at the morning conditions and tell you which flat we should start on.
Every trip I run is built around what you want. First-time kid trying to catch anything? We'll put him on trout and small reds until his arms hurt. Serious angler chasing a trophy tarpon? We'll run the beach at first light and hunt. Anniversary cruise with no fishing? I'll find you dolphins and a sunset.
